Do you struggle to prioritize your own feelings and wants, if it might disappoint another?

Can you admit to yourself when you feel uncomfortable with the way an interaction is going?

The wonderful Bell Hooks used to host circles where people shared their struggles and received encouragement and guidance.

This workshop- through creative exercises, compassionate discussion and guided meditation, will offer a warm place to do this. We'll focus on the ins and outs of boundary setting- encouraging us to truly look out for our authentic self, to feel more confident and safe in our interactions- to be our own rescuers! The workshop will be coordinated by Ria Bronte, a writer in Glasgow. Her work involving themes such as upbringing and family, self love, anxiety, femininity, the self, consent, manipulation, philosophy, growth, inspiration.
