The Brain, The Person & The Trauma: an evolutionary and neuro-bio-psychological view on the effect of trauma and stress.

A talk by Dr Markéta Keller about how our brain & body deals with experiencing trauma and stress. An insight into what goes on in our skulls before a conscious awareness occurs can help to make sense of the “what and why” and to deal with trauma and stress experiences in our daily living.

From an evolutionary to a contemporary perspective, this talk shall aim to outline how the evolution of the “emotional” brain governs our neuro-psychological processes in the 21st century.
