Workshops for the community by the Community

Aye Thrive

What is Aye Thrive?

We organise monthly free workshops led my people from marginalised backgrounds where we invite people from the community to join us for an evening where they can learn in a trauma-informed environment.

Aye Thrive is a place for people to discover new creative ways to support their mental health and create connections with others. Our goals is for participants to learn or share news skills with their community and find a feeling of accomplishment through creativity. These events are important in supporting communities to come back together, celebrate who they are and start the conversation about topics that are important to them through art and creativity.

  • “ I wouldn’t have felt so safe and ready to share such vulnerable experiences of my life without such a supportive team of participants and volunteers”

  • “The events went well. The workshop hosts were kind and generous with their time and guidance, and the participants all enjoyed learning new things and connecting with new friends. I also enjoyed learning will observing and helping the workshops to run smoothly.”

  • “It honestly meant the world to take part in this programme. This really pushed me outside of my comfort zone and allowed me to chase the growth I have been longing for as an artist. I cannot thank the team enough for the consideration”

  • “It has changed me. Being surrounded with talented people, with people that are opening doors to a greater future with awareness to real issues it has shown me where I want to be and who do I want to surround myself with in a personal level.”

  • “Spit it out bridges that gap in knowledge, safe spaces, third places for community and connect people thru universally accessible methods : arts and culture”
